Agnesia's Mother

Goddess of animals, nature, and rain. The personification of the world of Agnesia, who cares for nothing else but the well-being and fate of the world.
Beory’s most commonly depicted form has changed slowly from a rotund, middle-aged woman to a young, athletic wood nymph. She is often depicted as nude or wearing simple garments made of broad leaves. There have been no recorded manifestations of Beory in ages, and even her most devoted worshipers think of her as a force of nature rather than a divine personage.

Agnesia is the wellspring of all life. Whether on the surface, below the waves, or underground, all life is part of the cycle of birth, life, and death, and part of Beory. She inspires every living thing to grow, nurtures them with blessed rain, and calls them to herself when it is time to die. Disasters that cause widespread destruction are agony to her. The actions of individuals are of no consequence unless they threaten Agnesia.
