The Calendar
The year lasts for 364 days, but the actual time from one date one year to the same date another year is a bit more than 365 days. The rest of the solar year is the Winter Solstice and the Leap Day, which don't belong to any month.
There are thirteen months in all, each with 28 days. The months are listed in the sidebar.
Every fourth year there is an extra day added into the time between two Winter Solstices. This day is the Leap Day, and falls between the months of Emerald Leaves and Sun's Flame. Like the Winter Solstice, the Leap Day doesn't belong to the year, but unlike the Winter Solstice, there aren't many traditions connected to this day. People generally takes this day off if they can, and spend the day outside in the sun if the weather permits.
The Elders usually meet on this day, every fourth year, if they aren't prevented to do so. Well, except of Kalsad, since he doesn't really bother with these meetings.

Days outside the year
Some days doesn't belong to the year, but are still a part of time.Winter Solstice
The Winter Solstice is not considered a part of the year, and does therefore not belong to any month. It falls between Hearth's Call and Snow's Cloak, and is celebrated in all the nations. How the day is celebrated has some variations between different cultures, but some things are the same. It is a day of feasting with the family and loved ones, and no work should be done if it can be prevented. Generally, people stay close to or inside their home as well.Leap Day
