Session 39.5: Together again. Finally!
After a day of dancing, April heads back to the hospital to spend time with her mum. When she arrives, she sees her father. They both squeal and give each other a big hug...after being reprimanded again by Kiasuh to keep things down. There’s a female standing next to Jenny but April purely zones in on her family.
Ethan starts revealing that he met April’s dad, someone that came to fetch him along with Elijah. After she curiously asks if Silmer’s dad is really still alive, Ethan starts backtracking and wondering what’s wrong with this story. Based on the description that the tortle in question was “proper big”, April realizes he’s talking about Hawk. While she’s not sure who Silmer’s real dad is, she’s sure it’s not Hawk.
Ethan says it’s a pity as they were talking about eggs and babies. April queries whether he knows where eggs come from. He starts his explanation and it clearly goes wrong as Valerie quickly shuts him up. For starters, Valeries indicates on the sly to him that this might be a conversation they never had with her and Ethan “Oh yeahs!”.
He smiles instead and looks at Valerie. She takes it as her queue to describe the birds and the bees in a more technical manner. April wil never looks at the bird and the bees the same way after today.
