Session 39.5: Vence chats with Mia
After overhearing Cissa's comment to Emir that Mia seemed to enjoy Vence contacting her, Vence decides to message her with more regularity. Vence mostly updates her on the major events that have transpired. General Len wanting to exchange Mia for Valorie (and Vence planning to stand in for Mia), Saving April's mom, visiting Dal Quor, being invited to the Princess's engagement party, Emir telling Cissa about Hawk 'n Lucy, that Emir and Cissa are public, and met her cousin Martha. He tends to addresses her as Captain and mentions he is a bit lonely in Fairhaven and checking in on her Ukulele practice.
Mia of course replies in more than 25 words causing Vence to quickly recast to get the full reply. She scolds Vence for considering putting himself in danger, and that he can only impersonate her "for fun and chaos." She is delighted that April's mom is safe and teases Vence for "sleeping on the job" when it comes to Dal Quor. Martha apparently was quite smug in Stormhome and now she knows why. Having just missed him in Fairhaven she suggests he get himself a new drink, named with Malak in mind, "The Spoilsport." While it is clear she is improving...it seems her Ukulele skills are comparable to Griff's vocals. And much to Vence's delight invites him to a bard off and drinks.
