The Kingdom of Scuris
The Kingdom of Scuris resides to the West of Respite. They are currently at war with the Kingdom of Navarre.
The king of Scuris is a dragonborn named Kilfras. It is a large kingdom that rules with an iron fist.
The two kingdoms are at war because of Navarre's ruler declaring itself a kingdom, no longer a duchy and no longer under the rule of Scuris.
The war has become somewhat of cold war. Scuris unable or unwilling to send its troops through the forest between the two kingdoms. This is thought to be because of the tactics used against them by the assassins of Navarre.
