Nightshade Mansion

Founded many centuries ago, the Nightshade Mansion serves as a dorm building for the students of the Nightshade School.

The Nightshade Mansion is a dorm building where college-aged students live during their stay at the School of Nightshade. Each wing of the mansion connects to a different House based on the species. These Houses are a set of four, connected to the undead, spirits, shifters, and those with magick.
Alliances between the Houses are formed to better strengthen the bond between all the students, and factions are formed based on cultures and abilities via a physical and a mental test. This test is known to be grueling, but also the reason Guardians are bonded to Supernaturals.

The towering mansion loomed over me, its steep roofts and bays windows accented by the winding towers matched the creepy vibe of the ivy vines and stained glass windows of bats and skeletons. The faint smell of candles mixing with autumn stirred many wonderful memories of Halloween and cozy walks underneath the trees with changing leaves.
Brian lead me to the steps of the mansion, talking about the different Houses and how they interacted, but I ignored him. My attention was solely focused on the decorated double wooden doors with four crest symbols painted onto them.
"This place is amazing," I said.

Architecture

The mansion is of Gothic interior with Victorian exterior. The exterior carries an asymmetrical design with a tower that reaches to the second floor. A bay window juts out of the north wing as many windows and balconies contain arches. The roof is steeply pitched, hanging over many of the stained glass windows decorated with bats, cats, spiders, and skeletons. A garden can be seen in front of the house with a gazebo off the left of the entrance path.
There are four wings within the mansion, each connected to a different House. These wings harbor pocket dimensions within them. Each House has a different appearance and has a personal pocket dimension based around their House's colors and the unique traits of the species associated with their House.
