The Royal Crest of Krah Iiz
The royal family that rules over Jokull has a crest that depicates that of a dragon, but the dragon crest in question shows some resemblence to the legendary ice dragon Krah Iiz. This dragon dates back to the founding of the captial and the first king of Jokull. Krah Iiz is rumored to lay dormant at Isfjell's Peak, west of the capital past the frozen lake. Notably, on the world map Isfell's Peak is represented as the icy blue moutain in the center of the Isfjell Mountain Range.
History pretaining to the origin of the royal crest dates back about 800 years ago where a descive battle took place. At the base of Isfjell's Peak Krah Iiz was met with the founding families of Jokull's mightiest warriors, despite the place they call home currently is still just a small village; it was a small village with big dreams. With multiple sightings of a winged beast stealing livestock the village set out on a expedition too the mountain to for glory, riches and revenge.
Unfortunately, once their presence was made as they approached the lair these furoucious warriors will soon meet their maker. Within minutes, dozens of fighters were killed leaving the remainder badly wounded. As time began ticking these men were at death's door except for one of them. As Krah was dismembering one of his victims Jokull's founding father; the first king, landed the first strike on the beast granting him a sovenir to take home. Only a handful of men managed to make it back, but the ones who did witnessed the first king's bravery and strength and dubbed him the first king and crowned him using the tooth he won from striking the dragon. The tooth served as a symbol of power representing not only the monsterous strength of the dragon, but the unyielding perserverance of our first king who was able to strike a blow.
