Tonttu vs Jokull
The capital of the Great Forest of Karelian is known as Tonttu. Tonttu's greatest enemy was the rivaling nation of Isbreen and its capital Jokull. These two regions have went to war in the past for ideological reasons, the elves seeked to bring balance to Isbreen due to the unbalanced mana flow surging through the land due to Jokull's arrogance and greed by ignoring and mistreating the land and the elve's words. In doing so the elves took it upon themselves to rid of the humans to free Isbreen from their grasp but soon judgement day would behalf on the wrong people. Due to the caring and loving nature of Manalism and elves they took the humans under their wing and showed them the ways of mana and magic and the true beatuy of the culture known as manalism. Sadly, not everyone took a warm welcome to the new culture due to the fact that its pacifist ways went that against of Valism that stood for glory in battle and the constant need of wealth and power.
In the end, the elves believed in the few people that converted to Manalism to help restore the land back to the way it was. With some reassurance some elves also chose to stay behind and help with the teachings in order to fasten the process. Unfortunatley, the elves did not know that they were being used as the upper regime of the kingdom planned to use this new found knowledge to further their grasp on the land. As soon as word got out to the elves a war was ignited, now in terms of military strength, tatics, and resources the elves that reside on the opposite side of Fjellskog Mountains will always reign supreme. However, they made the grave descision in bringing the fight to the humans homeland where they held many disadvantages that soon lead to their devasting loss.
I am a bit confused by the course of this conflict. I'm intrigued by the idea of a small group of humans being taught a better way, but I'm not really sure what effect that had on the overall outcome of things? I'm also confused by the elves a bit. They're the ones who started the fight, right? But they're teaching the humans a better way? Are they qualified, if they're the ones who started the fight? Maybe flesh that out a bit, is my suggestion, since I am doing my best to offer productive suggestions for each military conflict article to the best of my ability. On the other hand, this is an excellent choice of conflict for this prompt, and overall, I can appreciate the ideological clash that made this conflict inevitable. Well done.
