Here, the Nexus extends not only through the earth but reaches into the Lochrian skies, propagating along airborne strings of Nexite residue. This unique characteristic manifests in awe-inspiring magical auroras that rise up from the earth and dance across the sky, their vibrant hues illuminating the darkest nights.
The landscape of Lochria is as diverse as the magic that flows within it. Towering mountain ranges, clad in mist and perpetually veiled in a cloak of shadow, punctuate the land. These peaks are said to be imbued with ancient enchantments, harboring forbidden knowledge sought after by intrepid adventurers and ambitious spellcasters. Tranquil fields, where glints of eternal moonlight reflect on pallid blades of grass and time itself seems to come to a standstill, stretch out for miles. Within the depths of Lochrian forests, the air is thick with an otherworldly presence, and the trees themselves seem to whisper arcane secrets to those who listen closely.
However, the beauty of Lochria's landscapes belie its inherent perils. Lochria is also known for the unpredictable and treacherous mana storms that threaten its landscapes and its denizens, even more so than on other continents. These tempests are a result of the volatile nature of the Nexus, whose energies can clash and collide on a whim. Such storms are capable of warping reality and causing havoc. Although this can occur on any continent, Lochrian civilizations especially have needed to develop intricate and occult methods of safeguarding themselves from these storms.
