The Crowning Ceremony

Execution

There are three parts to the crowning ceremony, each with a different importance to the zoir. The first part is the crowning itself. In this portion, the zoir coming-of-age will have a crown placed on their head. The crown is meant to be the family's burden but also their protection and care being laid upon the zoirrian's brow. The crown is usually crafted by the other members of the zoirrian's family. The second part is the feast and celebration. Here, the entire village will celebrate the zoirrian with a massive party to celebrate their accompilshments and to allow them to show their skills. The final part is a night alone. The zoir is handed a small bag with basic survival equipment (Sleeping bag, tarp, possibly a tent but not likely) before being led out of the village and left to spend the night alone. This is a test of a zoirrian's will to continue their journey even when they may be alone. The next morning, the Zoirrian is welcomed back to the village as a true Zoirrian kuran (Adult)

Participants

These events are very well attended, where a large group of the community will gather. The main leader of the community will lead the ceremony, while the head of the family of the Zoirrian will crown and send off those being crowned.
