Apollo

Apollo is the radiant god of the sun. According to myth, he ensures that the sun rises every day to provide light and warmth to the world. Almost all inhabitants of Sinfonia acknowledge his dominant presence, but not everyone pays lip service to the idea of giving him worship and honor.   Apollo demands absolute subservience from his followers and has no tolerance for blasphemy or heresy. He spends much of his time alone and rarely appears before mortals. His relationship with the other Gods is tenuous at best as he believes himself superior to the other members of the pantheon. This attitude was tolerated by the other Gods due to his position and power as the God of the Sun.   When he chooses to appear before mortals it is as a human man in his forties with flowing white hair and massive angelic wings, a short pointed white beard on his chin. He wears flowing robes with golden adornments and a large golden halo of radiance behind him. Light radiates around and from within him as he imposes over those few mortals blessed enough to witness his presence. In the rare moments when he appears before mortals he is usually dictating his will in a booming voice that fills not only whatever physical space he is occupying but also fills the mind of whoever he speaks to, overwhelming them with his divine presence.
