Zephyra Haladiin
Zephyra Haladiin (a.k.a. Zeph)
Zephyra's birth was an anomaly. In a healers hut tucked away in the forests of Eastport, an Eladrin elf was born and witnessed by the god Nylea, creating a Nyxborn child.
Her parents were wood elves: her father, Tavaster, a skilled wizard from Leviathalas, and Sealia, a nomadic ranger. They already had one son, Zakarus, but in response to the birth of their Nyxborn Eladrin, her father decided to bring the family to to his home of Leviathalas, who's wood elves are rumored to be descendants of the first Eladrin elves.
Along their way across the world to Leviathalas, The family were accosted by bandits who were able to overwhelm and nullify Tavaster's magical defenses and killed him with a dagger to the chest. His death bought Sealia time to escape and protect her young children.
Sealia continued the journey, and led her family the rest of the way to Leviathalas in safety. The family were welcomed to the city by those who knew of Tavaster, and also by many who were fascinated by the colorful Eladrin elf, and what might become of her.
After acclimating to Tall Trees, Zephyra sought training in the arcane arts to follow in the path of her father. Obsessed with swordplay, she found herself drawn to the ancestral elven art of Bladesinging under Master Bileth.

My years of training with master Bileth were interrupted by a letter I received a letter from my brother, Zakarus, urging me to find him and help him explore the ruins he uncovered near Strasfield.
I said farewell to Levithalas, my master, and my mother to go on my adventure. I traveled south until I found the location Zakarus indicated, but there was no sign of him. I scoured the ruin and while it was ancient and wondrous, it did not contain my brother. All I found was his sword, an heirloom from our mother, crafted from meteoric iron.
Returning home to Leviathalas empty handed, I felt defeated. I devoted myself to honing my skills as a blademaster and defending the woods around Leviathalas and the untamed wastes around Lyria All the while keeping an ear out for rumors of my brother, if he’s still out there.
A Bladesinger wizard with a brilliant mind and a lethal arm. Zephyra is an Eladrin elf with a passion for arcane prowess and artful skill with a blade.
