Elfhair

Elfhair is a textile material made of a specific kind of sheep wool, the Alyrcanian Greyhorn breed. It is soft, strong, warm, and breathable, though not as water-resistant as other wool. It is naturally grey, though it can be bleached and dyed. Alyrcanian Greyhorns were brought to Rovail by the Iron Elves, and then from there brought to Taria when Seric I conquered the Ilynarians and forged the High Kingdom of Aloria. They are jealously guarded by the Iron Elves, and in Aloria it is illegal for non-elves to produce elfhair or own Alyrcanian Greyhorns.
