Butterfly Court
The Butterfly Court is one of the centiralias courts in the Feywild , a truly unique and nomadic court. The court itself is situated on the back of a gargantuan butterfly, with many smaller courts spread across different parts of its body.
Unlike stationary courts, the Butterfly Court is constantly on the move, traveling across the mystical landscapes of the Feywild. However, every 10 years, during the Week of Rejuvenation, the butterfly dies and is replaced by one of its offspring, which has been living on its back. During this week, all the courts on the butterfly relocate to their new positions on the new butterfly. If the previous decade has been prosperous, the new butterfly is larger than the last. If not, it is smaller, leading to potential banishment of one of the courts deemed least important by the ruling archfey. If the new butterfly has extra space, a new court often forms shortly after the Week of Rejuvenation.
The Butterfly Court is ruled by Parona Parifilus , known as the Master of the Colorful Wings. Parona is an incredibly powerful archfey with a love for theatrics, shows, and performances. They often appear in the form of an elf with large, radiant butterfly wings and are known for their flair and passion for entertainment, as well as their great wisdom in leading this ever-moving court.
