Drow are a surface of Elves, that have purple skin, dark or silver eyes, white hair and have some of the greatest nightvision of any humanoid but are sensitive to light
Drow live in empires in the underdark and are matriarchal, most of the cities are controlled by the priestess of Lolth, and worship her and her children, her eldest daughter and the only one with Corellon, Elistreai is the goddess of the free drow, the drow who left lolth and her other children and want to work with other races instead of control them
In most of drow society females are superior to male to the point a baby girl have more prestige then the highest ranked male, on addition to this, a way for many drow to show their prestige is the ownership of as many slaves as possible
The drow empires are in constant war with powers from both the underdark and above, mainly with duergar, mountain dwarves and illithid
Most drow are lawfull evil
