Aerostationary

Invented in Maridenia, aerostationaries are essentially ships that fly through the air. Paying no homage to the waves, traffic, or largely other nations, the aerostationaries are the undisputed masters of the skies.
Aerostationaries directly precipitated the Pepper Wars, wherein Maridenia conquered much of Parazun on the western continent of Asina. This too would directly lead to the founding of Shoq and Namshan.
Today, while aerostationaries remain a significant military force, they are now used principally for shipping, via the Maternas Shipping Concern.
