Bearers of Life and Death

Two roles that they found most fitting, and which became closely identified with their clan, were as midwives and morticians. Having a Raven midwife meant that a community’s children would be born free of complication and raised to understand and respect the changes and differences that occurred with maturity. Having a Raven mortician ensured that the dead would pass on with proper, respectful rites, and would not harm the community once disposed of.
