Gift of Urd

Perhaps to make up for the difficulty in growing anything in the Bear lands, most things that do grow there are blessed with incredible size - and usually incredible ferocity. More sedentary Bear attribute this gift to Udr, while the more belligerent thank Udrun.

The average Bear is a head taller than a goodly-sized Wolfwarrior, and some are even a head and shoulders above the wiry and bowlegged Elk. Bear also do not appear to stop growing with age - their urds can be as much as a head and shoulders above other Bear.

This gift is also shared with the plants and animals of the Bear lands. The cattle of the Bear can easily be mistaken by outsiders as moving boulders, and seem to lose all domestication unless one of that clan is handling them. Bear hunters regularly compete with the massive wolves and bears for the prize of a moose or elk.
