Outside Perspectives

The Raven preference for intermediary spaces, of travel and of roads, mean that they often brush shoulders with a wide variety Sjonderwold inhabitants, picking up useful information from everywhere and everyone.
This not only gives the Raven a broader perspective of many of the events happening around them and an understanding of cultural touchstones for the various inhabitants of the Sjonderwold (human or otherwise) but also means that they can share what they had learned to improve the lives of those they met. Vidare, their god, is almost a by-product of their existing lifestyle, and the boons the Raven are granted compound the ease with which they live that lifestyle.
Raven generally find themselves living either intermixed into a larger, more dominant community, or in caravans travelling to and from said communities. More static Ravens use the knowledge shared by their clan to secure community roles that required a certain breadth and depth of knowledge.
