Pearlbridge

Further along from Ashchurch the clean streets get more windy and grimy, barges and boats of questionable purpose sit in the river waiting for the free laws of the ocean. Pearlbridge's personality comes out alongside the Romeo and Juliet, the star-crossed lovers of the sky share their gift of love to the city below and the façade of a daytime merchant square fades into the energetic and mature nightlife of Pearlbridge.   Performers and salesmen battle for your attention, A red tiefling with large horns dressed sensually as a devil, a large Myconid stands in front of a mushroom-decorated storefront handing out free samples of a product. A bitter smoke emanates from the building loosening your mind. In Pealbridge there's a pleasantry for all and any, from around Skalnir the niches of all pleasures may be satisfied. From centaurs to fairies, Harengons to Yuan-ti, an abundance of possibilities, some more detestable then others, fill your creative minds.   Although the district is fruitful of sex and drugs, other forms of entertainment are offered locally. Clubs with strange and foreign sounds, ominous instruments and upbeat gibberish echo down alleys strife with black market dealings. The cheering and applause of dance routines and plays causes the ground to shake in some areas.   Pealbridge is also well known for its gambling dens; in a city with some of the richest individuals in Skalnir, it is to be expected that platinum be played away as children's toys. All here is unregulated, no city watch dare to show their face in uniform here as all is in control of the merchants guild and the high concentration of very impressionable foreigners who likely wont side with authority.   Pearlbridges namesake bridge is a great work of craftmanship, it was commissioned and built by the merchants guild to reduce cart and foot traffic through Ashchurch as well as act as a symbol for the guilds wealth and power in the city.
