A world where the power of celestial bodies and entities hold power that can alter the direction of the continent. There is nothing more magically potent and sought after than even a spec of stardust.
The cultures and religions of the world have been shaped by the stars and people dedicate their lives to understanding the cosmic skies.
However, Skålnir, is more than just a mould for the heavens to play with. The continent is large and vast, a predominantly icy landscape full of beautiful sights and peculiar settings. The 15 nations of the world are in constant conflicts and states of peace, both internally and externally. There are 3 regions that separate Skålnir:
- The lands of Telmia, which encompasses the western region of the main continent,
- The realm of Unsvi, which holds the eastern half of the main continent and the eastern islands, and;
- The great island of Folimia that lays in the southern sea.
Days are similar to those of which we are familiar with, however, during the nights the starcrossed moons of Romeo and Juliet take to the sky. The two moons of Skålnir, the Lover and the Luckster, the Red and the Blue moon, watch over the lands of night.
Constellations also hold more weight in this world, with them actively leaving effects upon the world below. Reading the stars can help as little as providing direction, or as great as preventing gruesome deaths.
