Living in cold climate but rich with a lot of metals, together with the regional clan of dwarfes Bartona has developed highly sophisticated ship- and metalcrafting techniques. In the past they often went on raids at the mainland, earning themselves their honor, a concept which they adapted from the clan of Orcs, living with them in this area. They are becoming more diplomatic recently.
