Council of Quality

After the Blue Steel Taint had plagued the dwarves for over a millennia and it was discovered that the taint was transmitted by metal, Dwarves began to stamp the symbol of a Manedcoin onto the metal.
This developed into a mark of quality, the Council of Quality was founded to ensure the safety and quality of any steel forged goods.

Their mark of a Manedseal was proof of highest dwarfen quality as well as safe to the touch. Forging this seal was seen as a crime punishable by death.
