Stonecoal

A flammable ore that can produce a high heat over remarkably long time. Tends to go up in flames if mined incorrectly, due to produced sparks. The origin of Stonecoal is heavily debated. For some reason, most of it is found in colder regions that are low on ambient magic. This led some to believe that the coal might be remnants of a magical incident, but so far this is only speculation. Others simply argue that Stonecoal in warmer regions would have already incinerated and possibly released additional magic into the ecosystem.
