The Lawbearer

Erathis, the Lawbearer, is goddess of civilization and laws. She is worshiped by judges and guards, and those that maintain order, she is in love with Melora, The Wildmother. though their tempestuous romance is only ever in balance when nature and civilization are in balance as well.   Erathis is shown in most texts and statues as a hooded, armored woman sitting atop a throne of pillars. Her face is generally obscured or depicted without expression, giving her presence an impartial yet imposing nature.   The Lawbearer is one of the deities that is approved for worship in the Dwendalian Empire of Wildemount.   Erathis resides in Hestavar, the Bright City, an oasis in the astral plane.
