Virris
War Mage Virris Flame-Keeper
Virris is one of the shattered pieces of The Uncaring (specifically the 'soul'), he's gone by many names throughout his long life, serving as Shaun Gilmore's stockboy "Marvin Man-grass" or the travelling carneval owener "Madron Misbarin" as well as a more covert alias "Lucien". He founded and led the Merry Whistle Mercenary company for some time prior to leaving it to his son (the demi-god Virrin). His brother Yurek convinced him to join the magical organization he founded The Arcana Pansophical, with the two of them being it's most powerful Archmagi. After Yurek was poisoned with necrovenom, it became clear that his mortal form would succumb to his wounds, in order to prevent this Virris cut out his own divinity and supplanted it into Yurek, fusing the two of them in a horrifically painful ritual into a partially reformed version of The Uncaring, which in it's newborn stupor plane shifted itself and those around it to the Library of Lore seemingly in an attempt to resume it's duties as head librarian.
