Ortheope, is the Goddess of the moon
She lives in the heavens with Sahari, her sisters and several other gods,
Her siblings are Sahari, the sun, and the youngest, the two middle children, Maru, the dawn, and her only brother Meroh, the dusk.
Ortheope is the eldest of her siblings and is especially clsoe with her sister, she is often portrayed holding her hand or braiding her hair to make stars.
The people say that many things came from Ortheopes generous hands, Vanilla, tea, emerald, rice,
and most famously, her children
Sret, The Bitter wind of trepidation and storms and his twin Lause, the warm wind of summer, spring, and animal fertility
The widespread worshiping of Ortheope is more prevalent in the Western Regions, where she is brighter and has garnered more power there.
Sahari is more respected in the East, where Spice, minerals, diamonds, and bread are more bountiful.

Ortheope lived in the heavens with the rest of her family and children.
When her sister Sahari fell to the earth, Ortheope hid away in mourning, and there were twelve nights where the night was completley dark before the people begged her to come back. Ever since then, ortheope has slowly revealed herself to her family and people, but she still shies away each month in rememberance of her sister who had breifly fallen to earth
She is kind and stern, and does not give as freely as her sister had. So down in the west, it is alot more rare to recieve a Gift. Matthias was lucky that Ortheope decided to share something so precious with him.
Gender Identity
She is distincly alot more feminine that her sister, who can be portrayed as somewhat androgenous.
Her femininity often expresses itself in the manifestions of her Gifts, the reason why Matthias, or other Gifted people often express themselves in a more feminine manner by personality or clothing. Matthias can definiltey be a bit of a drama queen, his personality is strong with his Gifter.
Sahari can no longer gift magic to her people, as when she fell to the earth, all of her power was granted through a hereditary system in a recessive gene. Ortheope, on the other hand, can grant her worhsippers their gifts, but as i said, she is far from generous, and only grants them to people she thinks are handsome and strong of character. Accomplishments & Achievements
Ortheopes siblings helped to create the sky, the dawn, day, dusk, and night.
She helped to create the moon phases and was responsible for the creation and development of many things, shes also staked owner ship of the keltingale, a pure white grey spotted horse that lives in the Selkeren region, and are said to only let those of fair face ride them with ease.
