The Underdark

The Underdark is more a biome than a location. These sprawling and vast cave networks that can be found under the very earth you walk on. Its denizens are a careful people, with little connection to the world above. They know no light, no gods, and no safety. The already dangerous terrain and deadly fauna have since become nigh unlivable thanks to a small but significant and sudden influx of aberrations, creatures that defy nature on the most fundimental of ways.
