Bubble Day at Seat of Syl

Bubble Day is the celebration of the first appearance of Sylvia . Each of the main nations of The Sylvan Queendoms celebrate it differently. This is how it is celebrated in Blessed Seat of Syl
The day has long been celebrated when trees start to reach full bloom, signify what is believed to be the anniversary of Sylvia's planting of the Great Tree of Syl . It is believed this breathed life into the Sylvan Lands, the heart of Sylvia's realm. As the elves care much for the land, they hold this in particular reverence and treat this day with great care and respect.
Most in the Blessed Seat of Syl  start the day rather calmly taking in the wonderful calm of the spring morning, if one were to eat it is consider appropriate a light meal, breads berries, honey and other harvested items. As the sun rises and the sky turn blue, many gather outdoors and prepare for the Wishes on the Wind. Using soap formula, people focus on wishes for the Goddess to hear, be they gratitude, desires or prayers. The blow a bubble and let the winds carry them. They watch all the wishes as they float into the sky and disappear in the blue sky.
As the sun goes high and the shadow of the great tree lays over the palace, several ceremonies are held through out the city, the main of which is in the park beneath the Great Tree. The religious ceremony recounts the story of the planting of the tree, and of Sylvia's blessing upon the lands and the magic that has since flown through the lands granting them the wonderful life they have. A prayer that Sylvia shall continue to bless the nation and that the High Queen may rule in her stead until the Goddess decides to lead herself. The Queen presents herself to the high priestess promising to continue her rule in the best interest of the goddess and her people. The ceremony ends with the priestess offering the queen a bowl of the holy bubble formula, this is then used by the queen to blow an exceptionally large bubble, often capable of being seen by those through out the city. The bubble floats up and burst with in the air, sprinkling droplets upon those who attend. The smaller ceremonies through out the city function similarly but with the absence of the high priestess and queen. These ceremonies are to attend to the city as only a small portion can fit with in the park. similar bubble bursting do occur being preformed by the priestess's over seeing each. Similar festivals do occur in the other elven cities through out the nation as well.
Following these ceremonies, the church relinquishes control of the event, what proceeds tends to be a grand festival in the market and through out the streets and parks. games, parades, and shows are put on, often revolving around bubbles. Recent years have seen BubbleTech Industries  showing off several of their bubble inspired creations, particularly a set known as The Bubble Games, a variety of games and such with a nice bubbly twist which often involves losers getting bubbled.
Many sections of the City will end the day with a feast prepared for those regions, often including meals and ideas from the other nations of the Queendoms to which some of the residents represent.

History

Believed to be the day Sylvia planted the Great Tree, and thus spreading life through out the Sylvan Lands, The Elves hold this day holy. Early on most people simply celebrated the holiday on their own or in small groups offering their wishes to the Goddess. However following the Goddess falling into her restorative slumber, and the finding of the original nations, The first High Queen of the Blessed Nation of Syl. started a more organized worship. The Queen would accept wishes and prayers in the Goddess's stead acting as an agent. giving out blessing to those she deemed worthy. This continued for hundreds of years. slowly turning more into respect for the queen, causing many to offer their own wishes in silence by blowing bubbles. Upon the death of the First High Queen, the second ended the offering of wishes to the Queen, but left no replacement but did not discourage people from worshiping the goddess in their own way. During this time People organized giving their wishes publicly using the tree as the focus.   It wasn't until the Third High Queen, that the modern festivities arose. It hadn't escaped her notice of those who organized such events through the year, and gave permission to establish The Church of Sylvia . Guiding them only to show respect for the Goddess. The church grew and slowly the ceremonies started to take form, in desire to worship the goddess and give respect to the Queen the current Ceremony was formed.

Execution

The execution of the holiday is amongst many different groups, with the primary group being the The Church of Sylvia . The church which organizes the system of worship of Sylvia  with in the Blessed Nation of Syl , over sees the religious ceremony and even spends the weeks preceding the holiday distributing a bubble solution for the Wishes on the Wind. This is often done in coordination with The Sylvan Palace , as to how the Queen would like to participate, and while it has yet changed it remained tradition to inquire on the Queen's role. Following the holy the Church also monitors the Great Tree's health. this is to ensure that someone might have used their own soap instead of the distributed one.   The afternoon festivities are organized by The Sylvan Palace, who holds a grand fair in the market, offering food, shows, and various trinkets for people to enjoy. While Bubble Tech Industry opens their facilities for a grand display over their creations and the running of games and challenges.
