Latex Pendant of Larissa
Mechanics & Inner Workings
The pendant is a direct connection to the goddess Larissa Mueller and the Balloon Void. The sphere at the pendant is made out of magical latex given by the goddess, which allows the wearer to pray directly to the goddess and be heard by her.
To use the pendant, someone needs to be a faithful believer in the goddess and most likely a member of the Church of Larissa. Depending on the mood of the goddess, she may also let non-believers use it, as she alone decides it.
When using it, you send a prayer to the goddess, asking for something like a magical balloon. The goddess hears your prayer and then decides if she will grant it and in which way she will grant it. Priestesses will most often receive exactly what they had prayed for without any hidden pranks by the goddess.
It may also happen that the goddess manipulates the prayer, for example letting you summon a magical balloon but instead of listening to you, it will trap you instantly. Depending on the mood of the goddess, the wish, and the person who prayed, nothing may happen at all. In the end, the pendant does not grants powers on its own but is a connection to the goddess and allows her to summon her blessings directly at your location.
Manufacturing process
Created by the goddess Larissa Mueller in the Balloon Void, the exact process of creation is unknown. When a new pendant is given to the world, it will materialize in the hands of a priestess or other high-ranking members of the Church of Larissa or may even be given out directly by the goddess while she is possessing one of her believers.
It is assumed that, same as the magical latex in general and the balloons from the void, the pendants are already a part of the endless void and just need to be molded into form by the goddess. While handing it out, the pendant is often missing the strong, allowing the person receiving it to choose for herself how she wants to wear her pendant.
History
The pendants were the first item that was created by the goddess for her followers. She made them stay in contact with them but also granted them a tiny bit of her divine powers as a reward for their faith.
Over the years, the pendants became a status symbol for high-ranking members of the church. Even while many priestesses became Hearttex, they still continued to wear their pendants. Not because of the divine magic, which they had access to anyways as a hearttex, but as a symbol of connection to the church and their goddess.
Significance
The latex pendants hold a high ritual value for members of the church as they are created and given out by the goddess herself and are infused with her divine magic. Touching such a pendant alone is seen as a reward for many faithful believers and receiving one is an honor as it means to carry a direct connection to the goddess with you.

Rarity
Only priestesses and other high-ranking members of the Church of Larissa are owning these pendants. During festivals or other special events, they are also given out temporarily to others. That makes them quite rare.
You can't buy them and even the black market has no access to them as they are directly linked to the goddess Larissa Mueller, which makes stealing them impossible as the goddess eyes would be on the thief very quickly.
