Nano Worm

Nano Worms are an artificially, symbiotic species created as a multi-translation tool by the Angels. They are given out by the Fallen Angel Empire to young species that reached Tier 3 on the Civilization Tiers to allow them a smooth first contact with other extraterrestic species.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Nano worms are microscopic, synthetic lifeforms. They resemble small earthworms, yet are fully black and only around 2 nanometers in full length.

Genetics and Reproduction

The Fallen Angel Empire is the only known organization that can produce Nano Worms. They are unable to reproduce by themselves and an angel artificially makes each single one.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Nano worms live off their host by mimicking themselves as a cell of the host's body. The body of the host then transfers the required nutrition towards the nano worm.

Symbiotic and Parasitic organisms

Nano Worms are made for a single reason: To translate the most known languages of the universe for their host. Each Nano Worm contains a library of languages, programmed by the angels. After connecting themselves with their host's brain, they automatically translate their known languages for their host, both in heard and written form. The Angels especially made them for young Tier 3 Civilizations and excluded most languages of lesser civilizations. In some cases, the most common languages of lesser civilizations are taken into the library of languages. This is most often the case if the host civilization already has contact with a lesser civilization. The decision of which languages are included exactly lays with the Guardian Angel of the planet.
The spread of Nano Worms and the exact amount that is given out is also decided by the Guardian Angel. In most cases, enough are given out so that most members of a civilization can gain access to them, but in some cases, only very few are given out. The exact supply lies in the hands of the angels.

• On Earth, the Guardian Angel Kiseki Tenshi is known for using the Nano Worms in private obligations towards her anime community. As a big fan of animes, the angel gives out nano worms to other fans she knows instead of giving them out fairly.
• The supply of Nano Worms on Earth is lower than for most civilizations, as their Guardian Angel Kiseki is too lazy to fill out the reorder documents.
• Most Nano Worms given out to older civilizations are outdated and often have not included the languages of younger species. Such civilizations rarely receive updated versions of the nano worms.
