Forest of Summer
Note from the writer: Please don't ever go into this forest. It's awful. And you don't even want to know....
Note from the transcriber: It's not so bad. Sure you sweat alot, but what's a little bit of sweat gonna do? It can't kill you. (Well, not entirely)
Geography
The Forest of Summer is a strange phenomenon because it is located on the last slope of the mountain range, where 1) it is still very, very cold and 2) it's above the timberline. There are no other trees for several more miles.
This Forest of Summer is a regular forest, besides the unnatural phenomenon, but it is a regular forest. It has such a thick and high canopy that even at mid-day a person wouldn't be able to see the sun.
Ecosystem
There are the regular animals in a forest, squirrels, birds, bears, etc, however there are some creatures that are from myth and lengend supposedly in those woods. There hasn't been any proof, but many claim they've seen some sign of Bigfoot, or a Chupacabra, or a "large alligator that was blue with long green pointy horns and a crazy look in its eye that says "Hi." and is kind of nice, but also dangerous. So I didn't get any closer to see its sharp, mossy teeth. Or the fact that it looked like it winked at me."
Note from the transcriber: the woods are perfectly safe. You can't believe anything these people say. Especially the last one. He's crazy.
However, due to the unnatural phenomenon in the forest the creatures never stray far from the beginning of the forest. There are no animals in the middle or the end of the forest.
Climate
The strange phenomenon that happens here is that it is always hot. At first it starts off manageable. Particularly near the beginning of the forest about 70° F (21° C), then it slowly starts to rise the farther the person travels. At the end of the forest it's estimated the temperature reaches about 104° F (40° C).
Once the person leaves (If they have survived) the forest the temperature, as if the forest had never been there continues. Which means the body will go from the average of 104°F to about 55° F (13° C).
Tourism
People hate this place and avoid it whenever possible. However it is one of the very few ways to get to cities and towns where there is food and water.
