The Cycle

Introduction

The Cycle has been going on for years. And although it seems that I know everything about it, I don't. I only know a few things, and those few things were gathered through hundreds of questions and going through millions of rumors and legends and performing possibly illegal magic.

The Chaos Theory

The Cycle, as far as I know, has been going on before the beginning of time. This cycle began in what I believe is called the Chaos Realm. This Chaos Realm is the source for many wizards and mages magic. However, not knowing exactly how this Chaos Realm works has not made my research any easier.

I believe that the Cycle begins in the Chaos Realm and although I have no proof no this, based off of my experiences with the Realm I have felt things. Pulls and tugs, that I believe are apart of this Cycle.

Basic Information

The first Cycle happened in the creation of the first gods, Entity and Being . Due to various reasons I beieve that the Cycle is being controlled by some god or creature. This god/creature expelled so much energy creating these two gods, that it had to go into a slumber for hundreds upon hundreds of years. In fact, signs of The Cycle were never seen again until several years after The Treaty of Deraphan . Which leads me to believe that the gods have something to do with this mysterious happening.

The Monstrosities

Whatever bond the gods had with The Cyle was most likely weakened when many of the gods started to sleep and fade, which means that The Cycle must have been gaining some power, because once many if not all the gods had died out The Cycle started. Not only did the world start do die, but every godly realm started to crumble, and monstrous creatures started coming out of the shadows, oily beasts started to slide out of cracks in the road. Large humanoid creatures with ghoulish features, and birds with hundreds of eyes and no tongue. Creatures made form nightmares.

Eventually these creatures started to disappear, and the world of Verinar with its new gods started to come to be. No one knows where these creatures came from or where they went disappeared to. We can only hope the gods took care of them and they aren't still hiding in the shadows.

The Mysteries

But, I know ask the question, did the monstrosities come from the Cycle or where they just some weird godly experiment? Why does the Cycle have such long resting periods? How are the gods contected to this Cycle, and if they are even bonded to it, why? Does anyone even control the Cycle or does it naturally happen?

Whether I'll be able to answer these questions I don't know. But I do hope that reading this doesn't curse you with death or various other forms of torment.
