The Prophets' Husian (WHO-sē-in)

The Prophets Husian (still in use today) is a large building/underground cave that is mainly used to train and prepare future Prophets to hear and understand things sent by the gods.

Purpose / Function

The Prophets Husian is a large, now underground structure that trains and prepares future Prophets through a series of various tests and exams. It can also be a place to find a nearly infinite amount of facts about the gods (who they are, what their powers are) or other heavenly beings (such as angels or demons.)

This place is used by the Main Character, Avron as an information place about the gods, and other subjects. However, he does occasionally wonder, how The Prophets know all these facts and informative things about the gods.

Alterations

Some alterations to the building have happened that have significantly enlarged it. There are nearly a hundred tunnels that now lead to this building. Each of these tunnels are used to train common folk to become Prophets. These tunnels also help with fast communication.

Architecture

This building's main architecture attraction was the large door it had had for its main entry point. This door that opened into a large room with twelve different doors leading out. Each of these doors are slightly different and represent the 13 "original" gods. The doors have the emblems and symbols of those gods. In the entryway are large columns that hold up the high cavernous ceiling. Behind each of the twelve doors are thousands of other doors that lead to different parts of The Prophets Husian.

The older parts of the Husian have grand architecture. Large colummns, high valted ceilings, and huge glass windows. The newer parts are actually carved from rock and have the occasional gem stuck in its rocky wall. These newer parts are less grand and look much more like a very large cave system than an actual building.

Defenses

Originally, before the buildings fall. The Prophets' defenses consisted of large metal gates coming down blocking the main entrance. Metal shutters would close the windows and booby traps surrounding the building would be activated. These traps would consist of the usual sharp spikes and poisonous snakes and/or spiders, usually both. Along with some other traps, like boiling tar, fire, and other harmful things.    After it fell its defenses are now miles upon miles of sand, and magic. If a person starts digging where the entrance to the building is they will be electrocuted. In order to bypass this electrocution they must draw a circle and write a series of patterns and draw series of symbols in order to open the entrance.

History

At first The Prophets Husian was a magnificent building that towered over the surrounding towns. The Prophets Husian was one of the greatest buildings during the Era Without Gods, but as time went on and as the gods started to fight amongst themselves the world started to shift and the winds began to blow harder and stronger the great Prophets buidling slowly began to be covered with rocks and dirt.

And one day, when the winds had died down and the earthquakes had stopped, a group of tourists were brave enough to visit The Prophets Husian only to find a vast desert and the magnificent building no longer there.

Tourism

Before the collapse and fall of The Prophets Husian, people who either wanted knowledge about the gods, wanted to become a Prophet, or stare at the architecture came here. There were hundreds of local restaurants to eat at, many romantic and/or tourist attractions in the nearby area. Familes came here for vactations, couples for a date, or their honeymoon.

Now, after its collapse, people come to "The Prophets Desert" to see if they can find ruins or any sign of the grand building, but of course, they only find sand. Others go to see if what exactly The Prophets are doing, and what messages from the gods they are receiving, (if they are receiving any at all.)
