The Basalt Sea

The Basalt Sea, is in fact an ocean, that separates the continent of Arcadia from the rest of the world at large. It was named before its size was fully observed. Due to the waters being extremely dangerous and consistently turbulent, no ordinary ship is able to pass through it and therefore it still has yet to be properly mapped. Any airborne means of transport is also stopped by inclement weather and monstrous waves.
