7/19/24 - Forest Detour

General Summary

The Party splits from Haar to go enjoy lunch in a somewhat hidden establishment nearby.
Fi-4-dis, the Culinary Connoiseur of the group, directs the party through the nearby forest to a particularly large tree with some sets of platforms and pulleys to raise people up into a tavern nestled into the tops of several trees. 
The party met the owners and operators (Altin & Gwynyn Oakenlock) of the Treetop Tavern, and enjoyed a nice lunch. 
Several party members share bits about their histories and they use the opportunity to get to know each other and a few of the locals. Such as Sylla the bartender, Greeba the bouncer, and Tamm Torgin, the Gnome inventor. 
As they were getting ready to head back to town, the party did investigate the "Help Wanted" board and took on a handful of small commissions from some of the inhabitants. Most Notably a request from Sylla to acquire fresh and new ingredients in the nearby forrest for making drinks. 
While out forraging, the party discovered a half-orc man being attacked by a reanimated Bear. With some help from the party, the Hunter was able to fend off the bear and introduced himself as Kark. The party also recognized his name from one of the wanted signs and he shared that he was looking for help with talking to Greeba, as he's had a thing for her, but couldn't build up the confidence to approach her about it. 
Returning to the tavern, the party had mixed results with their drinks from Sylla. Turns out Salmon Berries were not a good combination with the other ingredients that Sylla was using and a couple of the party members were incapitated from their drinks. 
After Fi-4-dis needing saving from falling off the side of the tavern, thanks to Greeba and Euryition, the Griffin. Alexandrite convinced Greeba to join for dinner that evening.
