Under Embassy
Digging too deep is a well known risk for any mining settlement. Breaking into existing caverns or tunnel systems of the Underdark can threaten entire civilizations based on what you encounter or awaken. Snakevein was fortunate to not awaken a great dragon, fiend, or monstrosity. Instead they carved their way into extenstive natural tunnels between several under-settlements. After a few years and numerous altercations between the surface dwellers and those of the Underdark, an envoy was compiled of individuals who understood Undercommon and other customs to broker trade and resource mining. As time went on, the lower settlements began sending representatives for their interests in the surrounding area. These groups went on to form the Under Embassy to facilitate relations.
