Dwarves

The Dwarves of Soanus are know as "The Second Peoples", they were created to help advance society and bring about a more awakened society that is more aware of itself. This new awakened society that the dwarves brought focused more on creation of new ideas and making Soanus a better place for all of it's peoples. Dwarves come in four different ethnicities; Mountain Dwarves, Hill Dwarves, Sea Dwarves, and the Duergar. The Mountain Dwarves built their kingdoms in the heart of mountains where they were protected from the elements. The Hill Dwarves built a top the rolling hills giving them a vantage point to watch the world and gather ideas for new inventions from it. The Sea Dwarves built coastal cities and focused on exploring Soanus searching for new materials with which their crafters could use. The Duergar built their cities in the Underdark, they use these subterranean cities to explore the depths of Soanus and seek fortunes from mining new and rare materials. Regardless of their ethnicity all dwarves are a shorter, stout, and hardly peoples that revere crafting and ale.
