Hybrid
Hybridism is a rare occurrence when an offspring takes on the genetic traits of both parents if those parents come from different species.
Vectors are a species that was made from the ground up which makes their DNA sequences squeaky clean. The scientists anticipated the genetic diversity that would occur in the future and installed a Mutt Reduction protocol in their genes. This was to prevent an inevitable homogenization of all vector traits and features generations down the road. Because of this, if two parents from different species (Ex. one is a wolf and the other is a deer) have a child, that child will take on the species traits of just one parent instead of both. The exception to this rule is if the Mutt Reduction failed and the child becomes a hybrid. In this example, the child may look mostly canine but then have antlers as well
