WAR COMES TO VENUS

If you're a subsribed reader, you are wondering why you just got a notification for articles two days in a row. This news is too big to let sit for too long.
So when I was investigating yesterdays news my ears were turned towards an event that had occured on Venus. Murmurs in the IRPF spheres of a massive joint operation with Progenitus. This isn't uncommon, they often work together publicly against pirates, uprisings, you know how it is. What is uncommon is the location. You see, this operation was under the oceans of Venus.
The mercenary group Rusthounds seemingly found a benefactor who wanted to raid Eon. A human-artifact museum located under the waves of Venus. This is weird, dear readers.
You see, mercenary groups don't usually even consider military ops in civilian centers as this is a declaration of war to the IRPF. It's a good way to find all your leadership dead or arrested. And weirder still, Rusthounds don't have a history of attacking civilian outposts or taking hostages.
So who is the benefactor? 'S' he goes by. And let's say there isn't much about him. His spending far outpaces his income and he's always a few lines removed from major thefts or heists. Its not hard to imagine him as the brains behind all of these heists.
But.
Why would he be here personally? Why would he take hostages?
The questions are stacking up. And there's still more.
You see, IRPF hasn't even started to gear up plans to take Rusthounds to task for this assault on civilians. In fact, the standing order for the massive task force was Less-than-Lethal rounds only.
Right now if you ask me this is all seeming a little staged.
But the question marks don't stop. A third faction seemingly joined the fray. Our friend, 'S' is now a corpse. Slain by a Pale.
So now we have the Rusthounds, a group operating out of its scope. 'S' acting completely out of character. IRPF responding to deadly force with pellet guns. Pales.
It doesn't stop.

And for those who don't know the Pale? Just know they aren't boogeymen. We usually only know they were there after they've left. And they to, broke that mold seemingly. Slaughtering 'S' and others in public view. They came prepared, a third faction. Cutting down those in their way to get... something.
And still one last question: anyone who was visiting the area that day is still unreachable. Just. Gone. IRPF, Progen. No one will comment. Family is clueless.
But there's one more faction at play, dear readers. And the reason I wanted to push this article to today.

They were there. A day later. On Venus. They were there when 'S' died and the Pales showed up. Recordings of comms suggest they were giving orders to both Rusthounds and IRPF.
Readers. If I had to guess? Someone is on the move. Someone with plans layered behind plans. These bounty hunters are somehow circling it. Not as clever scavengers, no. They are the hunters hiding amongst their prey. And they have made it clear that us. The people. Are not safe.
I will get to the bottom of this. For you.
