SID
(also known as the Solarian Identification System)
"SID, or the Solarian IDentification System, is an identification protocol established for a more streamlined experience in a person's identification when they travel. On SID documents, it lists the person's initials, birthdate, and location of registration. Other information may be listed on the card depending on the type, such as the triangular gender-sex marker."

Solarian Postal Codes
The supercontinent is vast, thus the process of shipping postage as conveniently as possible is ultimately necessary. The postal codes are broken up into three sections: Country, State, City.
Gaia’s “countries” are more like continents, though without the natural separation that Earth continents usually have in some shape or form. Countries: Tethysia, Titania, Ecurria, Ceres, and Hebe.
The States are colloquially called “countries” by the masses; technically, they could be due to their size and varied governmental systems. State examples are Zelos, Azalea, New Saint Morgen, and Juniper Isle.
Cities are self-explanatory: a location within a country that has its own miniature government. For the purpose of postal codes, they are generally designated by metropolitan zones and not the place names themselves.
As an example: if a person lives in the country of Ecurria [05], in the state of Azalea [42], within the Rutherford Heights District [30], then the postal code will be 054230.The Gender-Sex Marker
The ultimatum when it came to putting gender or sex on identification cards, the gender-sex marker is an upward-pointing triangle with a circle at its base. The triangle is horizontally striped with black (the same shade as the circle), and the triangle itself can be colored with a vast array of different shades.
As an interesting innovation of identification cards, the black stripes and circle are actually a part of the card, but the colored triangle is user-applied. This means that the user can constantly replace their colored triangle if they find their gender not aligning with themselves anymore.
Standardized Gender Markers | ||
---|---|---|
Cyan: masculine [he/him] | Yellow: androgyne [they/them] | Magenta: feminine [she/her] |
Non-Standard Gender Markers | ||
Green: agender [ask me] | Color-to-Color (no split): genderfluid | Purple: nonbinary [ask me] |
Grey stripe: demigender | Black stripe: unconventional gender | White: name only [no pronouns] |
The black circle isn't just a directional guide for the sticker, however: instead, it is coded with the designated sex of the card holder to such a degree that it only can be read via a specialized eyeglass. The sex mark is made with a proprietary UV-based ink, so the marker manages to remain obscured even under blacklight.
This is to allow an individual to only disclose their sex to people they trust, and medical professionals that require knowledge of an individual's sex for more accurate medical guidance. The sex marker can be altered, replaced, or outright removed by medical professionals if it is deemed necessary, as well.References
