Fire Crystals

Fire crystals are a marvel of our natural world. They seem almost to grow from the deep ground of the Crystal Hills and only there. They hold within their relatively fragile crystalline structure the power of heat and fire. The best armor and weapons of the Bright Empire are crafted in the intense yet controlled heat of forges powered by Fire Crystals. The stories say that these crystals are a gift from the All Father of the Western pantheon. Some say this is not true, but the otherworldly properties of the crystals prove it to others. Regardless of where they came from, wars have been fought to control the excavation of this wonder of the world. Currently, all control of the excavation and trade of the crystals is kept tightly in the religious hands of the Sun Blessed.
