Oasis-Born Tribe

The Oasis-Born Tribe is the second eldest Nomadic Tribe on Solaris having been around for 200 years having been formed by Jessala Oasisborn, a legendary Dragonborn Slayer whose stories tell of her slaying the monsters that dared defile the Oases with their presence by using her mighty hammer and shield this earned her many followers. With her followers she formed the Oasis-Born Tribe and unfortunately, she was only able to sire 2 children before she was struck down by a fatal disease leaving the Hammer of the Oasis and her shield for her descendants to wield in times of great peril for the tribe. The tribe prospered for about 170 years until the Truth of the Underworld infiltrated the tribe and even succeeded in corrupting the Chieftain at the time and he even slaughtered his wife and unborn child in the name of Gethen. That was the breaking point for his son Talrek who was the first to pick up the Hammer of the Oasis and shield for the first time in 160 years. He slaughtered the cultists and their sympathizers and left their bodies for the monsters and vultures to pick clean; even his own Father was not spared that fate and found himself swiftly killed when Talrek swung the hammer down on his father’s head. Despite Talrek only being a 12-year-old boy, he named himself chief and spent years making sure every cultist and sympathizer was dead.
