The Beginning

In the beginning there existed the mortal plane and those who wished to control it, those persons where of every alignment and way of thinking. When the material plane came into being all those persons, of which we now call "Gods", had begun a war over who would be the ruler of said domain. Some say that war still continues to this day in some form or another but the events of this war are unknown to to modern day mortals. What is know, is that many mortal beings died in pursuit of the control of the prime material plane, and some of the Gods decided enough was enough. The Gods Durat'Kur, and Lathander decided to join forces in order to put a stop to the senseless bloodshed even if it is the mortals that are really paying the price. Together the two were able to systematically seal the powers of those Gods they deemed too evil or unpredictable in cadence with what could be considered a ceasefire. Because of their efforts, Durat'Kur and Lathander, were granted a a portion of the material plane to reside over. The fate of those powers of which were sealed are unknown.
