In the timeless expanse before the dawn of creation, a vast and boundless void stretched in all directions, a yawning chasm of emptiness untouched by light or form. At the very heart of this profound nothingness, suspended in an eerie stillness, hung an enigmatic orb. This sphere, brimming with the raw, untamed energies of primordial matter, was a beacon of potential in the cosmic emptiness. Then came the moment that ignited the birth of existence itself – the Great Explosion. The orb of condensed energy erupted in a titanic burst of cosmic force, unleashing a torrent of matter and energy into the void. This cataclysmic event marked the birth of the universe as we know it, a cataclysmic origin story whispered in the mythologies of countless worlds.   In the wake of the Great Explosion, the nascent cosmos was a tumultuous place, a realm ruled by aberrant beings like the ominous aboleths. These malevolent entities held sway over the primordial cosmos, shaping it according to their inscrutable whims.   Yet, from the remnants of that fateful orb, emerged the first true deities - Solarion, the radiant God of the Sun; Lunara, the luminous Goddess of the Moon; and Terra, the nurturing Goddess of the Earth. United in their purpose, they waged a cosmic war against the aboleths, who had dominion over the primordial elements. Together, Solarion, Lunara, and Terra harnessed the elemental forces and the remnants of the exploded orb to forge the Material Plane, laying the foundation of reality itself.   As the universe expanded and the realms diversified, other gods and divine beings ventured into this newly born cosmos from far-flung dimensions and distant realms. Among them, Vesta, the Goddess of Humanity, stood as a beacon of compassion and creator of the first mortal race - humanity itself. Her act of divine creation would become a cornerstone of this burgeoning universe.   Solarion, crowned as the Chief Deity, presided over a pantheon of deities, spanning the entire spectrum of morality, from benevolent and virtuous to malevolent and sinister. His divine authority ensured the cosmic order and balance that held the cosmos together, as the gods watched over the ebb and flow of time and destiny.   Throughout the epochs that followed, mortal civilizations rose and fell across the Material Plane and other celestial realms, leaving traces of their existence in the annals of cosmic history. The gods, ever watchful, regularly intervened in the affairs of mortals, their divine conflicts echoing through the tapestry of existence.   Then, in the year 1 AE (After the Explosion), a significant momentous era dawned. The earliest known lasting mortal civilization emerged in the region of Sillibia, marking the beginning of recorded history within this universe. The universe, once a chaotic expanse of nothingness, now teemed with life, civilizations, and the divine forces that shaped their destinies, as the cosmic drama of creation and existence continued to unfold.
