White Rock

A small and once-respectable city, White Rock fell victim to the ruination of war like many other cities on the Isle of Alaron. It is a relatively small city nestled high in the Fairheight Range, ruled entirely by the Longfall family. Many of the residents have reportedly fled White Rock for the capital, leaving the city with only a small handful of individuals including its ruler, Vasili, its appointed guardian, Astrid, and a pair of innkeepers.   The city was, at one point, set upon by a group coming from across the Fairheight Range, followers of Talos who intended to sacrifice every man, woman, and child in the city to their god. This plot was foiled by a small handful of soldiers who made their way to the north in the early days of Fort Vegapath's operation. Currently, the status of the city is unknown, as no contact has been received in weeks nor have any parties set out to reestablish communication with the fledgling city.

Demographics

The demographics of the city at its height are unknown, as the streets were nearly empty when the soldiers first arrived. The few people that have been encountered in White Rock are humans, with no other races known to make the city their home.

Government

Rockfall is ruled, and apparently has been ruled for years, by the Longfall family. Little is known about them save for the fact that they appear to be hospitable and open to receiving help from individuals who prove themselves to be strong. They appear to value strength and cunning above all else.

Defences

White Rock is ringed by stone walls to the north and south, with natural formations of stone and cliff faces forming natural barriers to the east and west. Gates and portcullises cut off possible invaders when the city is at proper manpower to maintain them, though the soldiers were able to note that they could not maintain said defenses in their current state.

Industry & Trade

White Rock relied heavily upon trade and resources from the capital, with little other trade being established. There were talks of trade with the small hamlet of Rockfall further into the Fairheight Range, though trade had already been disrupted for a handful of weeks when the soldiers arrived.

Infrastructure

White Rock has built many simple bridges to span the crags and chasms that run throughout the interior of the city's stone walls. Roads comprised of the namesake White Rock that is visible interweave throughout the small buildings that make up the majority of the city's structures.
