As the crusade neared Kythyss, traveling down the High King's Road, the forces were ambushed a group of Shadar-Kai assassins wile passing through Llewellyn. Despite the best efforts of Halar, Simone, Hodor and erik, the enemy struck a devasting blow against the campaign. The ambush resulted in the loss of key Norlander and Ffolk leadership and left the song dragon Kisarana wounded.
