Core Minerals

Those are the main materials for making tools, jewelry and household items, as they are easy to find and process.   There are 21 core mineral, of which the walls of the caves are made. Each one carries its own unique properties. They are mined and then carved into desired form to make everything that needs to be made of solid material. To maintain the wilderness intact, the core minerals are generally mined at dedicated quarries. However, some craftsmen adventurers can mine some anywhere, in case of need.   All of them are also often sorted by so called activator strenght. It corresponds with how good they can channel magical power. The tier I activators are weak and can't help channeling magic power. So the user has to do all the work by themselves. The tier II activators are stronger and significantly increase ease of magic usage. They minimize loss, but can't provide magic from surrounding areas at any acceptable rate. Tier III activators are none of the regular tier I and II activators. They do not just channel Magic, but change it and react to it. By the matter of their respective behaviour they can also be stimulated to generate said magic, which differs them from all the weaker activators. But as they use magic energy on their own they are not any good at channeling it. The tier IV activators, on the other hand, are only slightly worse than tier II at the channeling magic itself, but can also take magic energy from external sources, corresponding to said activator. The roumors tell about the hypothetical tier V activator, but researchers think that even if said activator can be found it will not be possible to mine or process it in any way, however it was never found, so the discussion is seemingly pointless.   Activators of tier I:   Argum is a smooth stone of brown-ish tint, also it is the most wide-spread mineral of all.   Bazum is a layered dark grey colored stone, which has a dusty feel to it.   Marum is a light grey granular stone with a rough texture. However if polished good it can be used as mirror surface.   Activators of tier II:   Aurum is a golden stone. It shines very nicely and often used for expensive jewelery.   Kurum is a pitch black stone. it is also reflective, but seems to absorb most of the light.   Shirum is a brightly white stone. It looks pure, but is not refective like the other two from its tier.   Activators of tier III:   Astum is a stone of red-ish pastel color. Although it looks smooth it is very catchy and you can even damage your skin if you try to rub it. When it rubs against something it generates magic. And when channeled magic through it sticks to almost anything.   Urtum is an orange kind of pastel color, so it has almost copper-like look to it. It has a very nice ring to it, which changes depending on the form. It take magic out of sound itself and also can be tuned to take magic from certain sounds, making it capable of causing different effects based on the sound.   Oktum has a nice sun yellow pastel color. When hit it busrsts with magic energy. Also it becomes very bouncy when charged with magic.   Entum is a grass like colored, but a bit more mute, as all the others of similar metals. It is a metal that defies gravity and can float when magic is channeled through it. And when it is in state of free fall it becomes capable of generating magic.   Irtum is a deep green pastel colored one. It enhances movement and uses its movement to generate magical power.   Activators of tier IV:   Myuryu is a stone of water. it has a nice blue-ish cyan shade and makes watery sound when hit, despite being a solid stone.   Tenryu is a stone of darkness. It has a deep black night shade, with purple veins running through it.   Feryu is a stone of fire. It looks like a molten metall and feels quite warm, despite not actually emmiting heat.   Neryu is a stone of death. it has an uneven dirty white-ish look and emitsh green aura.   Hyoryu is a stone of nature. It has a rich brown color with green bits scattered through it.   Sairyu is a stone of light. It looks like sand, but it is solid. It emits a warm light of a yellow-ish tint.
