Soul

Soul is a 'Summoning' Essence, one of the most potent ones of all, able to beckon forth direct individuals. The Soul element is often assosiated with the practice of Necromancy above all others, because of the ability to pull souls back and forth through the veil. The assosiations of Soul often are taking further with the idea of seances and contacting ones past lives and former states of being for council.
Soul can beckon forth a deep connection between states of being. But it is not without its limits. Overuse of Soul can have a physical presence on an individual, often manifesting as a death aura throughout ones self, repelling life from them and making them much more 'deadly' to be around. This is often the case when one attempts to use a Summoning essence as a Offensive essence.   The consequences are long lasting, and generally impossible to reverse save for temporary relief with the Mend Essence.   More experienced Soul Essence divinities tend to use the summoning essence to bring forward past abilities and skills in large all out, sudden and unpredictable moves. If not wielding a soul essence actively out on the field, to have one able to read and predict another Soul essence user would only be the safe and sane thing to do.
