Vulcaire Planetary Document

The nights of Vulcare are filled with familiar yet violent dangers.
— Vampyr
Vulcaire is a planet cloaked in a symbolage of normalcy. People go about their lives as if there is no such thing as magic, nor creatures of the night. It is a 'modern-esque' era, being almost to the cutting edge of what one would traditionally call 'cyberpunk' but lacking the technology or resources to get it to that ERA, stabilizing itself in a pseudo-advanced 'modern' society, with electrical based technology.   However under the surface, a rich history lays of post fall of conria. Venthyr had fled here en masse, and propegated the birth of some of the most ancient legends of vampires. The Venthyr seemed to follow Rendrus lead, and in a cyclical nature, propegated the creation of a new substrain of Vampirism, as worship to their lord.   This Vampirism mutated, and spread, however the grand population of the world caught wise of the Vampiric threat in the dark ages, bringing down accusations of heresy and death. So began the Masquerade as it would be known. All creatures of the night, whether they be Mages, Vampires, Werewolves, or other supernatural creatures, must hide themselves away, and their abilities.   And leave no survivors whence you do, lest the masquerade is tampered. The supernatural creatures of the planet play a thin line. Archmages create a veil over the entire planet, but it is easily shattered, and can only hide so much. Vampires caught breaking the masquerade face death penalities by the higher ups, and the clans have a very strict caste system, each ran over by one of the ancient Venthyr who first descended to the planet.   Vampyr worship is near universal in the supernatural communities on this planet because of thus, and with the rebirth of Vampyr, brings forth much political dismay, and individuals both celebrating, rioting, and desperate to keep control.
Vampires of All Types
While it is assumed there is a natural air of grace that comes with being a Vampire, the reality is far more mundane, and if not annoying. Most Vampires in order to fit in with the masquerade live realitively normal lives if not being recognized as 'gothic' individuals, who frequent 'nightclubs'. The familiars of these vampires tend to be the ones to pick up the slack; mundane individuals who have been permitted into the masquerade, by their vampire 'owners'. However more often than not the familiars find themselves to be over glorified house keepers, companions, and more, who are just doing this to become vampires themselves.
